Marikina Rep. Quimbo is definitely right with his statement...Corona is no ordinary witness but ,let's look at the actual merits of this farce. Article 2: No legally-obtained (or even illegally-obtained!) evidence has been presented that the CJ's SALNs are materially incorrect. Article 3: There is no evidence of incompetence etc.... Article 7: The Supreme Court had to allow GMA to travel because it is her right to do so as guaranteed by the Constitution. These are the facts... but this is the Philippines. I suspect the pork barrel will be used as leverage, as it was with the 188 Congressmen who voted for the Articles of Impeachment without reaching them, and the senators will fall into line. Of course, my real hope is that they will show something resembling moral and intellectual leadership and toss the charges out.

I have no objection of increasing taxes at reasonable percent increased. What Filipinos want is the maximum efforts to decrease and finally, zero in terms of CORRUPTION in the Philippine Government. For what are these taxes for? Para kurakotin lang nila. Until when are we going to graduate “na parang, nakakasawang walang katapusan investigation” From all those elected presidents Marcos, Cory Aquino, Ramos, Estrada, Arroyo and Pnoy Aquino. simply implement the Laws against corruption. Anyone who bribes and nag pabribe ay makulong “DAW”. Sino naba ang nakulong? So far??????????????????
