Forgetting Midnight was started by Manny Gonzalez and Matt Gambino, formally of Unlabeled Theory, in the spring of 2009. They were joined by Bassist Michael Scherel and his brother/drummer, Mark Scherel. After a summer of successful shows the band was looking to grow in experience so in the Fall of 2009 Manny brought on former bassist of Unlabeled Theory, Vinny Celentano, to take over as lead guitarist.
In the spring of 2011 the band released their first full length album "A Place For All Our Broken Pieces" which led to an east coast tour later that summer. Forgetting Midnight over the past 3 years has played venues such as Coney Island's Siren Fest, The Starland Ballroom, Arlene's Grocery, BB Kings, etc. continually building their fan base.
It can't be stressed enough that this is a band about music first and foremost. There is nothing more important then having fun and playing the music that they love. Whether they are screaming their lungs out or harmonizing a melody, the single desire is to deliver pure
